Mr Hardial Singh Kalsi, Chairman

We are proud to have Mr Hardial Singh Kalsi as the chairman of our social club. A passionate motorsports enthusiast and former rally participant, he brings a unique blend of leadership and excitement to our community. His dedication to fostering camaraderie and collaboration among members is truly inspiring. Under his guidance, we continue to thrive as a vibrant social hub, where friendships are forged and shared interests come to life. Join us in celebrating his vision and commitment to making our club a welcoming place for all.

Mr Narinder Singh Channa, Vice Chairman

Our club's Vice Chairman is a dedicated sports enthusiast with a particular passion for field hockey. A seasoned veteran of the sport, he proudly represented Kenya in the 1980s and has earned numerous accolades throughout his career. As a decorated player and former Club Captain, he has made significant contributions to the sport.

In 2015, upon returning to Kenya from Canada, he envisioned and established the Simba Sports Academy, a testament to his commitment to nurturing young talent in the field hockey community.

He is also the son of our past Chairman, Mr. Didar Singh Channa, embodying the spirit of a true club man.

Mr Deljinder Singh Mudher, General Secretary

Our General Secretary is a dedicated businessman and a passionate supporter of sports, particularly field hockey, where he actively contributes both in time and financial support whenever called upon. In addition to his role in the club, he holds similar positions in various other social and religious institutions, showcasing his leadership and commitment to community service. Known as Del to his friends and family alike, he is a chartered engineer and the Managing Director of Sohan Singh Josh & Sons Ltd. Del is also a passionate historian of the bygone era, reflecting his deep appreciation for history and its impact on our present and future. His multifaceted contributions to both business and community make him a respected figure in all his endeavors.

Mr Gurmukh Matharu, Treasurer

Our treasurer brings many years of experience to the role. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and has previously worked in various sectors, including banking, logistics, and in practice as an auditor. Currently, he leads a consultancy firm, where he provides guidance on accountancy and tax matters. At the Club, he is responsible for ensuring sound financial health.

Mr Avtar Singh Kundi,Asst Member of Sports

Our assistant member for sports is a successful businessman and a passionate sports enthusiast, particularly in cricket, where he actively participates. He is always available to assist in any way possible, offering both financial support and his time to ensure the success of our club. He serves as the Director of Met-al Art Master Engineering Ltd, a metal fabrication business based in Nairobi.

In addition to his business acumen, he has a rich history in cricket as a former player and captain of the cricket team, and he currently holds the position of manager. His commitment to the sport extends to his family, as his sons are also part of the cricket fraternity, with his elder son, Jasraj, representing the national team currently.

Mr Onkar Singh Kalsi, Member of Motor Sports

Our motorsport representative is a dedicated and passionate leader in the development of motorsport in Kenya. He manages our club's motorsport events, ensuring participants have a great experience.

On a national level, he collaborates with regulatory bodies to promote initiatives that support the growth of motorsport. His enthusiasm fosters a strong community among fans and encourages wider involvement in this thrilling sport.

Additionally, we are proud to have our youngest committee member, who, despite being a university graduate in dentistry from Europe, chose to return to his family business roots. He is now a recognized contractor, bringing a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to our team. His diverse background enriches our committee and contributes to the overall development of motorsport in Kenya.

Mr Kamaljit Singh Channa, Building Suprintendant

Our building superintendent is a successful businessman in the building trade. He dedicates a significant amount of time to ensure that the club's infrastructure is always in pristine condition and fully operational. His commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient environment greatly contributes to the overall success of our facility.

Mr Kalpesh Solanki, Member for Bar and Catering

As a successful businessman in the clearing and forwarding industry, our esteemed Bar and Catering member plays a vital role in ensuring that the club remains well-stocked and lively. His contributions extend beyond just resources; he generously shares his wisdom and insights, which have proven invaluable to our club. We are immensely grateful for his financial support and ongoing commitment to our success. Truly, he is a man who wears many hats!

In addition to his business acumen, he is a former hockey player of the club and has served as a long-term manager. Currently, he is the Veterans manager and a key supporter of our initiatives. His extensive experience also includes being a former member of the Kenya Olympic Committee (NOCK) and a former director of Cricket Kenya. Notably, he had the privilege of being part of the International Cricket Committee (ICC) team as the grounds caretaker during the Mini Cricket World Cup held in Nairobi in 2007.

Moreover, he is an enthusiastic badminton player and served as the former vice chairman of Badminton Kenya from 2012 to 2014. His passion for sports and dedication to fostering athletic talent in the community further exemplify his commitment to promoting a vibrant sporting culture.


Mr Hardeep Singh Rehnsi, Member

Hardeep is a successful businessman and the Managing Director of Rehnsi Ventures, a prominent player in the paints industry. He is our go-to person for any issues related to leases, constitutional matters, and legalities. Hardeep continues to follow in the footsteps of our esteemed past Chairman, Mr. Jinder Singh Rehsi, embodying the values and vision that have shaped our company.

Mr Manjit Singh Jhite, Member

Fondly known as Teddy, he is a seasoned hockey player and administrator who brings a wealth of experience to our team. Teddy is a qualified coach recognized by the Federation of International Hockey (FIH) and has served as the Head Coach for the Kenya national team during the 1998 Commonwealth Games and the Africa Cup of Nations in 2013.

In addition to his coaching credentials, Teddy is a qualified FIH umpire and currently holds the position of General Secretary for the Kenya Hockey Union (KHU) Umpires Association.

Beyond his contributions to hockey, Teddy is also a qualified mechanical engineer and operates Phoenix Aviation out of Wilson Airport. Currently, he is dedicated to training and empowering youth hockey players in Kenya, serving as the Convenor of Coaching & Development. His extensive experience and unwavering commitment to the sport make him an invaluable asset to our organization.

Mr Baljit Singh Virdi, Immediate Past Chairman

Our Immediate Past Chairman is a reputable business leader and a passionate club enthusiast. The club is immensely grateful for his guidance during the challenging Covid-19 period, which ensured that we remained open and operational. During his tenure, the club's Amrit Hall was renovated, receiving a new lease on life. He also held many milestobe events such as Return of Club Key, Avtar Sohal exhibition and Vaisakhi Sports Festival . He is an action-oriented leader who personally gets involved to ensure tasks are completed. Over the years, he has earned great respect within the wider community.
